This is an excellent example of historic renovation. Hallomoon teamed up with the client to restore, rehabilitate, and add on to a period house located in the Alameda neighborhood of Portland.
After nearly 40 years of deferred maintenance, coupled with a 107 year history, this Portland-style four-square was due for a major renovation. From the sewer to the roof, this home underwent extensive renovations.
The clients are now able to enjoy a new porch and a restored exterior. The 700 square foot addition houses an extended kitchen, a family room, and bathroom on the main level. What was once an aesthetically challenged and tired four square, is now a home ready to take on another 100 years.
