These West Linn clients own a one acre spread in the Surf Pines development North of Gearhart on the Oregon Coast. Hallomoon was tasked with designing and building a cottage on the higher point of the property, and a garage outbuilding opposite of the residence on the property. The cottage has a modern vibe that serves as a guest house for friends and family. Its high perch and trail from the house makes it a restful retreat. The detached garage was designed to mimic an outbuilding with a barn-like aesthetic.
Both of the buildings on the outer periphery of the main residence makes for a complete estate on this forested property just inland from the beach.
